Rollins is a member of HEDS, a consortium of colleges and universities committed to sharing data, knowledge, and expertise to advance undergraduate liberal arts education, inclusive excellence, and student success across member institutions. Trish Moser has been elected to the HEDS board of directors as vice-chair, joining elected member representatives who work closely with the HEDS director and staff to guide the organization and advance its mission.
Through surveys, research projects, workshops, professional development, and collaboration among member institutions, HEDS helps colleges and universities use data and evidence to strengthen liberal arts education and improve student success. As vice-chair, Moser will help guide the consortium’s strategic direction, support its leadership, and ensure its programs and initiatives continue to serve the needs of member institutions. Her role will also include helping strengthen the board and advance HEDS’ visibility and impact across higher education.
In 2021, Moser received the Thaddeus Seymour Staff Award for Community Engagement, an award granted annually to the staff member who has transformed our community through community engagement.
Moser has dedicated her life to serving people within the Rollins community and throughout Central Florida. She is a founding member of Bridging the Color Divide, an anti-racism education organization based in Winter Park. She is also an active member of St. Margaret Mary Church, where she serves as a founding member of the Lazarus Project, an initiative that provides food and other essentials to transient families, helping them rise out of subsistence poverty and into homes of their own.
