Rachelle Yankelevitz, PhD
Associate Professor of Psychology
Rachelle Yankelevitz is a BCBA-D (Board-Certified Behavior Analyst – Doctoral) and experimental psychologist. In the YELO lab (Yankelevitz Experimental Learning Opportunities lab), recent work has focused on human-animal interactions such as teaching children safety skills around dogs, and what dogs understand about human faces.
Other recent projects center on human decision-making processes from both basic and applied perspectives, using behavioral economics to understand risk-taking and impulsivity. Her teaching interests include learning, basic and applied behavior analysis, comparative psychology, behavioral economics, and statistics & research methods.
