Gatherings & Milestones

Adis Vila ’74 received the 2025 Andristine M. Robinson Champion Award for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity from Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership honor society.

Neil S. Cohen ’95 was named a finalist for real estate attorney of the year at the 2025 New England Legal Awards. Cohen is president and managing partner at Barsh and Cohen, P.C., in Boston. Winners will be announced in October.

Jordan Moos ’15 and Caroline Hodson Moos ’17 were married in St. Barth, French West Indies, surrounded by fellow alumni. Drew Phillips ’14 officiated, with Andrew Hambleton ’14 as groomsman and Hannah Kirby ’16, Sophie Clark Mondor ’17, and Mary Callaghan Rome ’17 as bridesmaids.

Onward & Upward

Susie McClintock ’95 was appointed chief human resources officer of InCommunity, a Georgia nonprofit supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. McClintock brings more than 30 years of HR experience to the role.

Emma Webb ’19 joined Visit Denver as social media manager, building on her years of experience at the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden.

Akheem Mitchell ’23 has been selected as one of only 10 students nationwide by the Legal Defense Fund to join its Marshall-Motley Scholars Program for future civil rights leaders. He will attend law school at Florida A&M University.

Sophia Foster ’24 earned a spot in the British Council’s Venice Fellowships Programme, where she spent a month in the Floating City working at the Biennale Architettura 2025 (Venice Architecture Biennale).

Bellamy Martin ’25 recently started a position with City Year Orlando, a nonprofit that mentors elementary and middle-school students in lower-income schools across Central Florida. This marks Martin’s first full-time role after graduation, where she will serve for the academic year.

Across the Arts

Charles Race ’75 won third place for best original script at the inaugural Jollywood Film Festival in Orlando for his work Johnny One, a screenplay about Navy Lt. Cmdr. John Waldron.

Ana Vega ’25 was featured on WLRN’s Entre Mujeres, where she discussed her experience writing her honors thesis during an interview conducted entirely in Spanish.
